EasyJacket is a modern tech company founded in 2019 in Gothenburg, with a vision to revolutionise the cloakroom industry by replacing the traditional physical cloakroom ticket with a modern, digital solution.
The story behind EasyJacket is simple but meaningful. One of our co-founders experienced an unfortunate incident when he lost his physical cloakroom ticket. As a direct result, his jacket was collected by someone else who had picked up the ticket. This event became the starting point for EasyJacket. We recognised the need for a safer and smoother solution for cloakroom storage and decided to develop an innovative technical platform to solve this problem.
During EasyJacket’s early years, the company had to operate through the challenging COVID-19 pandemic — a time when the entire entertainment industry was brought to its knees. Despite the difficulties, we didn’t give up when many others might have. Between 2019 and 2022, multiple versions of the system were tested and refined to meet our high standards for security and user-friendliness. During this period, we trialled the system at smaller events, learning what worked — and, more importantly, what didn’t.
2023 became a pivotal year for EasyJacket, as a deeper collaboration with Venner Group AB was initiated, bringing essential expertise and structure to the company. It was also during the winter of 2023 that Lokverkstan in Motala became our first customer to fully implement EasyJacket. Seeing our system used and appreciated by such an established player in the Swedish entertainment industry was a major milestone for us.
We are proud of the journey from idea to finished product and look forward to continuing to develop and improve our system to meet our customers’ needs in the best possible way. By daring to think big and act boldly, EasyJacket breaks down the industry’s limitations and leads the way toward a braver, more innovative future.
